This is a question we get asked a decent amount, and the answer is “increasingly!”. As shown by Kent Fire & Rescue implementing the Fire Safety Stick for their fleet of officer response vehicles. Allowing them to have a quick response fire tool to stop fires at their early stages, whether it’s a fire in/on the vehicle itself or a fire they come across whilst out on the road.

After discovering the Fire Safety Stick at the Commercial Vehicle Show, they have the Fire Safety Sticks in 300 cash-in-transit vans and a further 75 in mobile branch vans.
They replaced their existing 1kg and 2kg powder extinguishers and found huge improvements in fleet fuel efficiency due to the weight saving, cutting out servicing costs each year and, if a a fire occurred, the Fire Safety Stick won’t contaminate the goods with messy powder or foam.
